Road Flooding

12 September 2014

In an attempt to avoid a repetition of last year's serious flooding on Martin's roads, Hampshire County Council have dug out and cleared a lot of the ditches between the village and the Blandford road. The work is  not finished and culverts still have to be jetted. Following consultations and site meetings with the Parish Council the County have agreed that marker posts should be erected where the verge is now very narrow. We look forward to having the work completed shortly.

Paradise Lane in East Martin has now been cut and makes a very good autumn walk.
